10th Annual Prostate Cancer Golf Tournament
When
Friday August 22th, 2008
Dinner to follow that evening.
Purpose
Prostate Cancer is now one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers among Canadian
men and it is the second leading cause of cancer death for Canadian men over
65. The purpose of this golf tournament is to raise money in order to help fund
ongoing research and education of this disease. Additionally, we hope to raise
local awareness of this disease and the importance of early diagnosis. All money
raised will be donated to the Regional Cancer Research located in Kingston and
Ottawa. Additional information was provided to each player at the tournament
and everyone is strongly urged to read this valuable information, it could save
the life of someone you love. The Highland would like everyone to accept our
most heartfelt thanks for lending your support to this very important effort.
With your help cancer can be beaten!
